Container 90 is now back with a new EP with the brand new song called “Roller Derby Girls”. The track comes in 6 different versions and not just simple remixes that are so common these days. The band tried something different and reworked the title track into 6 different genres. The idea is to make a wider presentation of the song outside the usual Oldschool EBM audience. Additionally to the regular EBM version you find a Container 80 version (Italio disco), Container 79 version (punk), Container 69 version (ska/reggae), Container 909 version (house/dance) and an unplugged/acoustic version.

On this release Container got some old friends as guest musicians. In the 79 version, the “old punk rocker” Markus Holm from Finkkel Rockers plays the guitar. Harmonica on the unplugged version is played by Oskar Ljungqvist, usually in a bunch of cover bands. The old friend Bobby Öhrling plays back beat guitar on the 69 version. We are also very proud that some of the riot girls from Västerås Roller Derby showed up in the studio and helped us out with chants in the chorus on the 90 and 79 versions.

While these are good remixes, they are ironically stripped down to usual EBM trappings. It lacks a LOT of wild experimentation with arrangements, bombastic use of high dynamic range capabilities and Mariana trench's deep use of sequencers which made Front 242 a Sistine Chapel of the genre. Nevertheless, it's an enjoyable EBM Fix ►For You◀ I do appreciate visceral energy on certain songs which added another layer to the originals. Now i wait for FLA's Caustic Grip/TNI tribute like a guard dog. Symbolic ‡ Tentacles
